Description: Fossil Angustidens (Megalodon ancestor) shark tooth. Recovered in South Carolina. Good preservation. Classic dagger shape. Significant root loss but remaining root is solid. Great bourlette and very shiny enamel. Great serrations with a few nicks. Bladelike edges. Sharp tip. Nice colors. Solid and heavy tooth. Measures approximately 1.62" L x 0.98" W. See photos for condition. Enamel appears to have been buffed as is commonly done. From a South Carolina estate collection.
