This HO scale CPR Rail Barge & Barge Slip are completely Scratch-built!This One-of-a-kind model is based off the Canadian Pacific's rail barge operation on their Kootenay Division. Barges like this one along with small tug boats were used to transfer rail equipment across Slocan Lake between Rosebery BC and Slocan City BC. Similar Barges were used to transfer rail equipment between the British Columbia mainland and Vancouver Island. The Barge Slip was a transfer 'bridge' section from the mainland to the barge deck. These models feature Great Detail Including Overhead supports, Tension cables, deck details, and rail stops.Also included are four wood Pier Markers. This pair were once part of an HO layout that is unfortunately no longer around, however good care was taken during the structure's removal, and they remain in great shape! This piece has No box, However, I will make sure it is wrapped and boxed properly for the journey to the buyer!
