Description: You are bidding on a brand new Schlage E Series Handleset Murchison Design with Single deadbolt in the 605 bright brass finish. E series handleset and single deadbolt come keyed alike with two keys. Backset on both the handleset and the deadbolt is 2 3/8" the deadbolt fits the 1 1/2" hole prep. These locks are no longer available from Schlage. A direct replacement of these units is over $1500. The door must have an oval cut for the handleset to work correctly. Installation instructions are included. The E series lock is considered a commercial grade lockset. Specs can be found below: For fine residential doors: door range standard 1 11/16" to 2 5/16" The width of the Murchison handleset is 2 3/8" With a height of 14 1/4" and a projection of 2 1/4" Handleset comes standard with a 2 3/8" backset deadlatch but can be upgraded to a 2 3/4" backset for an additional charge.
