Rapier is a common name for number of different types of medieval swords in XV-XVII. This rapier is a sword with a long, narrow blade and a basket or cup hilt for protection of hand. Functional highest-quality Musketeer blade. Handle is plastic; pommel, brushed steel guard and quillion are steel. Tip is covered with a plastic point and wound with tape. Just slightly longer than 41 inches from tip to hilt. Tang is about 7.5 inches long and is threaded 6 x 1mm metric.
