Description: This listing is for 10 Fresh unrooted cuttings from my mature fruit bearing Pineapple Guava tree. All cuttings will be cut fresh on the day that they are shipped. Each cutting will range in size from around 4"-6" inches long. Pictures of the mother plant are shown in the listing. This plant has been organically grown using NO harmful chemicals or pesticides. Here is some important information about the Pineapple Guava or Feijoa sellowiana (fey-ow-uh):*Fruit taste: Taste is reminiscent of a pineapple, kiwi, banana, and guava all at the same time with a small aftertaste of piney mango or mint.*Fruit size: Fruit size can range from a medium to a large egg or 1"-4" inches oblong.*Fruiting time: Fruit develops all summer and ripens in the fall.*Health benefits: rich in vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants, and B vitamins. *Grow zones: USDA growing zones 7b-11 *Height at maturity: 8'-12' feet tall.*Maintenance: Very low maintenance plant. *Pests: Very pest resistant. When your cutting arrives, please make sure you remoisten the paper towel, and either put the cuttings in fridge for later grafting or to root later, or place in soilless media which is the best starting mix for starting plant cuttings. The mixture should be loose, well draining and have plenty of oxygen movement for newly forming roots. You can start cuttings in perlite, vermiculite, sand, or a combination of peat moss and any of the other materials mentioned before. Place well watered potted cuttings in an area away from direct sunlight. Sharp angled end goes in the media, flat-straight cut end faces up. Keep growing media moist but not soaked.
