About the Artist: Li Hongzhao (李鴻照) Li Hongzhao (b. 1959, 李鴻照), also known as Duan Tang (端堂) and the owner of Kan Yun Lou (看雲樓), is a professor at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and the director of Shaanxi Wangchuan Painting Academy. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. Li graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1984 with a bachelor's degree and completed the second term of the Chinese Painting Master Class at the Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2000. From 2004 to 2005, he served as a visiting scholar at the same institution. He began teaching at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1984 and has served as the head of the Flower and Bird Painting Department. His works have been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions, including "Chinese Painting Magazine," "Art Observation," and "Xinhua Digest." Li has participated in many prestigious exhibitions and received several awards, including the second prize in the First Shaanxi Provincial Art Award (Creation Award) for his painting "Pear Blossoms Show Signs of Life" in 2010.
