PREPARATION FOR OPERATIONTake the device out of the package.Prior to turn it on examine the device and make sure there are no mechanical damages of the power supply unit, cable and detector case.In case you see damages it is prohibited to use the device.If you have just brought the device from cold temperature keep it packed in warm environment for two hours.Install the air pollutant detector (use enclosed screws to install “SAFEAIR” on the wall or other vertical surfaces).Keep in mind the following information when you choose the place to install the detector:- methane is lighter than air. In case of leak its maximum concentration will be above he leakage place;- propane and butane (gallon gases) on the contrary are heavier than air. In case of leak maximum concentration of gas will be below the place of leakage; - carbon monoxide’s density is approximately the same as air’s. That is why its detection height is 1,5 meters above the floor;- it is unlikely to install the detector next to intake ventilation or AC outtake. It can impede detection of air pollutants.Hook the device up to the power supply unit. Hook up the power supply unit (220v, 50Hz).As soon as device is hooked up you’ll see yellow light on the detectors case. It means that it is hooked up and the gas sensor is serviceable.In order to activate the device push the button to I position.You’ll see green light. Within the first 2-3 minutes upon hook up gas sensor will warm up and detector will beep and you will be able to see the red emergency light. In order not to disturb other people you can temporarily push the button to 0 position. Red and green lights will disappear.When the sensor is warmed up you should push the button back to I position.During standard operation of the device you can see yellow and green lights. No red light.The device can operate in such a mode 24 hour per day during the long period of time.In case you hear that “SAFEAIR” responded check the reason and take appropriate measures to eliminate people’s and animals’ health hazard. NOTE:When power shuts down and is resumed “SAFEAIR” will beep for several minutes as during the first turn on until it’s setup for a regular operating mode.
