Description: Original antique chromolithograph print circa 1880 of Rushton Hall, near Kettering, Northamptonshire, England. This historic house is the ancestral home of the Clarke-Thornhill family. The illustration, printed onto heavy gauge paper (more like card) has been carefully extracted from a no longer usable dis-bound antique book. I have included the additional original historical background text that accompanied the print (see photographs). Measurements: Including border - approximately 10.5" x 7.5" (270mm x 190mm) Actual illustration - approximately 7.25" x 5" (185mm x 130mm) Condition: Very good condition for age (approximately 140+ years old). Some light foxing/marking in borders. No creases or tears. Reverse of print is blank. Will look superb framed. Please look closely at the photograph. Provenance: Picturesque Views of Seats of Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland.
