Description: Pair of Mounted Sterling Silver handles Impressed: RM EH lozenge Crown [for Sheffield] Lion [for sterling silver] and one more [too worn to make out] Furthermore, other side also impressed with 2 marks we can't make out Blades appear to be white alloy metal [magnetic] unmarked and worn but sharp and well mounted into handle Both pieces measure about 6¼" in length - They are spreaders or clam shell / oyster openers scoop-out We believe these pieces are:Martin, Hall & Co – were Sheffield based manufacturing silversmiths and electroplated manufacturers and silver, plated and steel cutlers.
