I use regular long-grain rice with 100% cotton fabric. I double sew each pouch for durability, and it weighs approx.14. oz. These bags MEASURE 9" x 4.5" small bags Perfect size for warming and soothing aches/pains from sore muscles, headaches, eye aches, etc. It can also be used as a cold pack for bumps, sprains, and ankle or knee swelling. (It is important to place the rice bag in the baggie before putting it in the freezer) Freeze for at least 1 hour before using. Microwave the rice bags for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure to check the temperature before using. DO NOT microwave bag for over 2 minutes at a time, rice can burn. These bags should not be in contact with water. I hand-make each pouch after they are ordered. Please allow at least two business days before mailout after purchase.
