Description: Water Skiing (Brown Line in Yellow Vest) Merit Badge - Type H, has clear plastic (No slogan) backing and was issued between 1972-2002. This merit badge began in 1969 with the pink water skier with no life vests design. In 1996, the design changed to include an all yellow life vest. In 2003, the design again changed to include a brown divider down the yellow vest and lasted in Type H only one year. In 2004, the design changed a fourth time to include a larger skier in brown-tan vest. In 2008 the merit badge merged into the Water Sports badge, as it remains today. Mint perfect condition!
