Description: Vintage Griswold Iron Mountain No 5 Cast Iron Skillet w/ Heat Ring 1030 Smooth & Clean This sale is for the very nice Vintage Griswold Iron Mountain No 5 Cast Iron Skillet w/ Heat Ring PN 1030 Vintage Smooth & Clean. The skillet measures 8 inches in diameter 1 7/8 inches tall and weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces. Very good condition, sits flat no spin, no chips, cracks or rusting, some wear and utensil marks inside. The skillet is cleaned for collector consideration and is unseasoned for profession chefs who prefer to use their own methods. Please view photos. Please note we only clean cast iron cook ware that needs it. If the seasoning is good we will offer the item that way. Our cleaning is done by electrolysis, then soft wire brushed and steel wooled. Then it is washed clean and giving a thin coat of digestible mineral oil for preservation. It takes a long time to clean these old items but one can clearly see the defects if any.
