Description: Playbill from the Broadway production of 'RENT', a play that ran at the Nederlander Theatre in New York City, beginning in April, 1996. This copy of the Playbill is dated from December, 2002. Cast members include: Joey Fatone (from *NSYNC), Karmine Alers, Mayumi Ando, Matt Caplan, Merle Dandridge, Stu James, Manley Pope, Jai Rodriguez (from 'Queer Eye For the Straight Guy'), and more. The musical has music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson, and directed by Michael Greif. The program is in color, measures approximately 5.25" wide by 8.5" tall, and contains 76 pages. As well as the standard information about the cast and crew for 'Rent', the Playbill contains the following articles or interviews: - Baz Luhrmann's production of 'La Boheme'- Dorothy Loudon in 'Dinner At Eight'- Nora Ephron's 'Imaginary Friends', starring Cherry Jones and Swoosie Kurtz- Brian Stokes Mitchell, starring in 'Man Of La Mancha'- a history of shows that have played at the Nederlander Theatre- several other pages of articles and ads The copy would grade at around a FINE+ (5.5), with general handling wear, yellowing and light foxing, especially on the covers, very slight loss of gloss on the covers, wrinkling along the right-hand edge of the first few and last few pages, and indentations and wear from being held while at the theatre. There is light discoloring along the right edge of the front and back covers where you see the wrinkling. Towards the centerfold, there is a light indentation in the lower corner along the spine on several pages. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive.
