Description: Old Remington mechanical writing machine / typewriter. Has some minor cosmetic flaws, but overall I think the machine itself and case are clean. Installed new ribbon on the existing spools. Tested as best I know and all the functions seem to be working fine, and you should be able to start typing with it right away. Rubber is not terrible for the vintage. Smells like a typewriter, but I wouldn't consider it overwhelming. No paperwork or key. I am enthusiastic about typewriters, but by no means an expert or professional repair person. Pictures of the typeface can be seen in the gallery as well as a tight shot of the serial number. All pictures were taken outside in natural light and are a big part of the description. Please review them carefully, use the zoom, and make sure this machine will work for you.
