Description: Here is a pair of vintage 1980's Roller Derby Speed Skates composed of Reidell 595 boots in men's size 11 (approximately) with Black Diamond plates (they are marked Pat Pend and with the number 6 or 9). The axles are by Laser, and the wheels are Labeda Fan Jets. Bearing maker is unknown. Wear is noted throughout, but wheels still roll very well and I have personally skated in them recently. I marked the size as approximately 11 because they are unmarked. Included with the skates is a case with latches that has a sticker from the "RollerRama Roller Arena" in Brighton, Michigan. There is also a parts sheet from the Roller Derby Skate Corporation in Litchfield Illinois. This is stamped with a seal of "Official Roller Derby Skate" and is marked 2/87 which likely means February 1987. ******************* Please examine the photos in this listing for further details and condition of the item – they are the truth!
