Many times cards came out of the pack like this. I DO NOT know this for a fact with this particular PMG as I was not the original owner. I encourage you as a potential buyer to research this matter on Blowout Forums as there are some big time PMG Gurus there who speak on this topic of miscut 1997 PMG’s regularly! In my opinion (just an opinion) I believe this card to be miscut and not actually altered by someone. I have described the card as POOR even though I believe the card is absolutely beautiful and would make a wonderful addition to any Tim Brown/Raiders/HOF/PMG/Heisman PC. I am 100 pct certain that although it’s miscut that it’s authentic- it has the perfect serial numbers which is very important when buying the 1997 PMG’s. In two of the pictures I have lined it up the best I could next to the normal base metal universe Tim Brown so you can see that the card is miscut. It’s a bit short.
