Description: Rare Vintage Takahashi Dalmatian Dog Porcelain Lidded Trinket Box: Partial Label This gorgeous lidded Takahashi lidded trinket box features a Dalmatian dog with a gold collar resting atop a black box. The bottom of the box has a gold band with 4 gold dots, one on each rounded corner. There’s a partial label on the bottom. This wonderful trinket box is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. There may be an age-appropriate lightening of the glaze on the black surface in one or two areas. The two pieces together weigh 9.8 ounces, and the box is 5” tall with the lid on, and 5 ¼” long. The lid itself is 2 ¾” wide. The bottom piece is 5 1/8” long, 2 ½” wide, and 1 ¼” deep. The base is 5” long and 2 ½” wide. This lovely trinket dish would make a wonderful addition to any Dalmation and/or dog collection.
