Rare vintage Sphinx of England designer brutalist/modern design bracelet#1670

Description: Up for your consideration is a gorgeous brutalist/modern style gold-tone bracelet signed Sphinx (an English company, 1948-1990s). The bracelet is in very good condition and measures just under 7” long and 1” wide. The INNER circumference is 6 5/8", so your wrist can't be bigger than that. There is very light wear on the edges and high spots, causing the plating to look slightly less yellow in those spots. There is a wear spot in the same spot on each link just opposite the horizontal link-connector portions, where the horizontal portion would contact the next link if the two links were pivoted to meet on the front surface. There is plating loss on the small vertical bars to which the adjacent link is attached, as seen mainly from the back side. The links on this bracelet are so very interesting. The bracelet also has a design number of "1670" on the back. From a U.K. jewelry website: "Founded in 1948, The Sphinx Company was a renowned British jewelry manufacturing company that produced well made, quality constructed, and beautifully designed costume jewelry that had the look of real jewelry.
