Description: This is NOT your average Disney pocket watch, and to say this is a pocket watch might be a stretch as the Waltham 26 was the largest of these timepieces. The jeweler who specializes in clocks and watches from all time periods cleaned and serviced this watch in 2021 and remembered that his father had a Waltham 26 in the dash of his pre WWII car. He dated the watch from the late 1930's to the early 1940's stating that this was a "Cadillac" of watches and not one of the cheaper more flimsy Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watches that were sold at the 5 and 10 cent stores. He had never seen a Mickey Mouse Waltham and especially in this size, but verified that the paper dial with the Copyright Walt Disney Productions marking was 100% real and vintage along with the proper Mouse hands. He said this twin spring, 8 day, 7 jewel, Waltham 26 was really built to last and run in any position, face up, face down, or standing up. The watch measures 3 1/4 inches to the top of the stem. One photo shows its size compared to a US quarter. The last 3 photos highlight the second hand movement to prove watch was running.
