Description: Rare vintage Herman Miller information / employee benefits box. Maroon fabric-covered box with the Herman Miller logo in orange on the front (along with some imprinted logos - see pic.) Ribbon ties to close the box. Box measures 13 1/4" wide, 10 1/4" tall, and 2 1/4" deep. This was given to employees in 1985 to "retain important materials related to our ownership." Complete with original contents: >photocopied letter from Max De Pree from October, 1985 >"How to Use the Employee Information Box" page >a statement of corporate values >two "record of employee stock purchase plan" pages >a brochure detailing the benefits to employees in 1985 >a brochure of the mandate of HMI >15 grey file folders, and >grey stickers (some pre-printed , some blank) for the file folders. Box appears never to have been used. All the stickers are there. Included pages have no writing on them, no bends or tears. One edge of the box lid is very worn as if it rubbed against something - weird as the rest of the box is so super clean. A little bit of scuffing on the front on the bottom right of the lid. Will be in the plastic bag in which it came 40 years ago. See photos! And see our other Herman Miller items.
