This boot is a kind of homage to the Super Setter 888, which were made for baseball great Ted Williams and sold at Sears in the ’60’s. The original boot was made of lightweight kangaroo hide. The re-issued 8180 is made from Portage cowhide leather, but still has the same unique green color. They were re-issued in 2000, and again in 2014. These are from the most recent 2014 run.
