Description: Rare original Lance Corporal Cavalry Chevrons from the Spanish American War. Chain stitching along the edges, yellow wool construction. These are single stripe chevrons and first authorized for Lance Corporals in 1891 by General Order No. 46. Each chevron measures approximately 1/2" across and measures approximately 7" long from the point to the bottom. One is marked “MM-172” on the reverse. These appear unused.
