Description: This is an older Hummel from the 1960’s that bears the trademark 4. The name of this figurine is Wash Day. Older ones are hard to find. This one is in very good condition. It has beautiful colors and you can see the action of the girl as she waves out the wash pieces. This shows the hallmark of the excellent Hummel craftsmanship. It ids 5 3/4 inches tall. No cracks, no chips, no repairs. This figurine is one that we acquired during my parents’ time stationed overseas in Germany. They were able to purchase many beautiful figurines during this time. As she is preparing to move to assisted living I am going through some of these with my mom and listing them.
