Description: ANTIQUE GOLD PAINTED Cast Iron HUBLEY Metal DOG- Sitting WIRED HAIR FOX TERRIER PUPPYThis auction is for a medium sized (for a DOOR STOP) ANTIQUE GOLD painted Cast Iron DOG of a sitting Wired-Haired Fox Terrier Puppy (more rare than the standing adult). It is a solid piece (not hollow). It has been cold painted GOLD and it probably isn't the original paint which was probably cream colored. HOWEVER, the eyes and nose are painted black; and there is a hint of a black line under the nose depicting the mouth. It is in excellent condition considering the age. Please see pictures for better descriptions. The dimensions are:· 4.75 ” tall (at the head) · 5.5” long (front leg to back of tail)· 2.25” wide I have multiple metal dogs in my collection (SEE FINAL PICTURES) and am selling most of these due to retirement and downsizing. The dogs are a variety of breeds, sizes and metals. Most are unknown makers, but the banks and this doorstop are HUBLEY. These dogs have been primarily purchased in antique shops in and around the Midwest for the past 50 years. These are some of my best dogs. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING FOR THESE DOGS TO SAVE MONEY.
