Description: Gorgeous RARE 8 Piece Vanity Set By Brown Westhead Moore & Co.Pattern: Hereford - Fruit PatternGrayish Blue and white - Transferware Dates to the 1800's. I did an extensive search on this pattern and didn't come up with much information at all. All the pieces are stamped with the BWM&CO marks and are believed to be authentic from the research I have done I have not seen another 8 piece vanity set like this one on the web. If anyone knows more about this set, please shoot me a message. I have owned it for a number of years and often wondered about its history etc. Washbasin measures approximately 15 1/2" wide and 6" tall. Some minor pitting. No cracks or chips on the basin. Weighs approximately 4 lbs. Pitcher has been repaired. I have taken many photos but am only allowed to post 12 photos in this auction. The pitcher sits beautifully in the basin and is a beautiful display piece. Measures 12" high. Measures approximately 8 lbs. Chamber Pot & Lid measures 6" tall, 28" around and 9" at the opening. Weighs approximately 5 lbs. No chips or cracks. Some minor pitting. Beautiful piece Crock Pot (towels?) with handles and Lid. Measures 10" high, 29" around and 9 1/2" at the opening. Weighs approximately 9 lbs. The lid is in excellent shape, no cracks or chips. The pot does have a piece missing on the bottom. There are no hairline cracks coming from this area where the chip is. the crack does not affect how the pot sits on a table. very sturdy Small Water Pitcher measures 7" tall and weighs approximately 1.5 lbs. No chips or cracks. Razor Holder for Shaving (I think that is what it was used for) stands 6" tall and weighs about a 1/2 lb. no chips or cracks. All the pieces are stamped.
