Description: Rare 19th C. American Musical Cut Glass Decanter Circa 1880s. It measures 11 1/4" to top of stopper, and 6 1/4" across at widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I think I saw one of these in a book years ago and it was attributed to Dorflinger. When lifted it has a music box lever that activates the music box bottom. The music box works fine! It has an old paper label on bottom, I think it is the names of the music played. A very unusual piece, and quite rare to find in working order.
