Description: The rare and iconic G-Shock DW-5600C-1V Japan H 901 as worn by Keanu in the movie Speed. The bezel band are new, aftermarket replacements. The original resin on this model did not age well and deteriorated on even the best kept watches; a well known issue. In excellent pre-owned condition. It's 30 years old and there are scuffs and scratches from use (mostly on the case back). A couple minor knick on the crystal that don't photograph intelligibly. Please review photos for cosmetic condition. All function buttons work. Backlight is dim but works. Battery replaced in 2019. Speed is also known for having the most high-profile G-Shock appearance in a movie, as the G-Shock DW-5600C-1V worn by Reeves is an iconic model that appears clearly and prominently throughout the film. Timelines often include the movie as a high point in G-Shockâs history. This is a make-me-move price. Love the watch and am happy to keep it. I just don't wear it very often.
