Description: Rare 1935 Propaganda Photo Book on THIRD REICH GERMANY ‘DEUTSCHES VOLK DEUTSCHE HEIMAT’ (GERMAN PEOPLE GERMAN HOMELAND) First Edition! This book was published by order of the Reichswaltung des NS-Lehrerbundes (the teachers association in the Third Reich). Published in 1935 by the Deutscher Volksverlag in München, Germany. 250 pages. Measures 8-1/4" x 9". Book is full of propaganda photos, many of them full page photos! There are more than 350 photos showing everything that had improved in the Reich since Adolf Hitler took over in 1933! It shows improvements in farming, house building, commercial and residential, industrial and infrastructural (like Hitlers favorite project: the Reichsautobahn) as well as the impressing monuments of the Third Reich like the Reichs Party Day Grounds in Nürnberg, the so called Ordensburgen where the future Nazi Elite was trained, the Ministry buildings like Hermann Görings Luftfahrtministerium (Air Ministry), the huge Olympic Stadium – both in the Reichshauptstadt Berlin or the Haus der deutschen Kunst (the fantastic arts museum) in München and so on! Also included are photographs of new factories that greatly improved the working conditions for the German workers who were under the wings of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (D.A.F. or German labor front). This is a rare example of Adolf Hitler's propaganda program at work at winning the minds and hearts of the German Reich I do my best to give as accurate info as I can.
