The coin itself is better than the scan shows and still shows great details. The details of the coins are well preserved with wear consistent with its grade and circulated state. The obverse shows the beautiful image of lady Liberty with her flowing hair and the bow in it. The reverse also shows wear but still shows all the letters and a nicely worn wreath. The coin is beautiful and clean with a very nice chocolate brown color and even honest wear commensurate with the grade. The coin is problem free and in original condition displaying a handsome brown colored patina. These coins were designed by Robert Scott Early US coins such as this are gradually getting difficult to find. Please carefully review scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1805. Mint: Philadelphia. Size and weight: Originally 10.89 grams of a copper and is ~28-29 mm in diameter. The coin has the plain edge design References: KM# 22; Listed in page 105 of the "2019 US Coin R. S. Yeoman (The Official Red Book), 72nd edition, Jeff Garrett, Senior editor, Published by Whitman Publishing, LLC, Atlanta, GA." Condition: The coin is graded as Very Fine VF20 by PCGS and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. This is a beautiful and nicely colored coin with honest wear but no problems. The coin has a nice chocolate brown patina. It has scratches, bag marks, and minor dings to the rim, which can be seen in the photos. It is untouched and in good original condition. The only thing we see is the fact that there is a chip in the slab in the right bottom corner on the obverse. This is rather small and does not affect the quality and beauty of the coin.
