From what I can find, this book was first published earlier in 2009 in a somewhat shorter version (note that was on the back says 'Now with 30% more zombies", plus this edition has 13 full page color illustrations and a new preface by the author. There is also a afterword by Professor Allen Grove of Alfred University and a reader's group discussion guide. The editions prior to this one had black and white illustrations by Philip Smiley, replace in this edition by the color illustrations by Roberto Parada and were published in trade paperback, except for an edition published by libraries in hardback by Turtleback books. So, this book appears to be the 'First Edition' with the longer additions by Seth, the new preface, the color illustrations, and the afterword. From the back cover: Now with 30% more zombies! It is a mashup combining Jane Austen's classic 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice with elements of modern zombie fiction, crediting Austen as co-author. It was first published in April 2009 by Quirk Books and in October 2009 a Deluxe Edition was released, containing full-color images and additional zombie scenes. The novel was adapted into a 2016 film starring Lily James and Sam Riley.
