Description: Pistachio Nut Tree Seeds (Pistacia vera)The Pistachio is One of the Healthiest Members of the Nut Family. Eating Pistachio Nuts Daily has Many Benefits as You Get a Significant Amount of Nutrients like Almost 6 grams of Protein, with Fiber, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Potassium, Carbohydrate, and Iron from Only One Source. It is Excellent for the Heart, Skin and Gut Health. The word Pistachio comes from the Greek word “pistakion” which means green nut. It was widely cultivated in the Persian empire from where it gradually spread around the world. The Assyrians and Greek believed in the medicinal properties of the nut. Pistachios are also one of the oldest flowering nuts humans have been consuming for over 9000 years. It is also one of the two nuts mentioned in the Bible (Genesis 43:11). Pistachio trees needs full sun (a minimum of eight hours daily) and thrives in hot, arid climates. Though the pistachio tree will grow in almost any soil type, it does best in light, sandy, loamy soils that are well-draining. Wet, heavy soil is not an option for these trees. Because of their long taproots, it is important that the soil reaches deep into the ground. Pistachio trees are very drought-tolerant and prefer arid landscapes. However, for an abundant harvest, they still require plenty of water. Water the tree deeply but infrequently, allowing the water to saturate the soil. Excellent drainage is crucial, as pistachios do poorly in soggy soil or standing water. ZONES 7-11Pistachio Germination:1) Soak seeds for 36 hours, changing water daily.2) Cold stratify by placing in a zip lock bag of with seeds wrapped in a wet cloth and place in the fridge for 40 days.3) Remove bag from fridge and place in a location that's between 75-90 degrees F.4) Check seeds every other day for germination lasting between 1-2 weeks."If you Need Anything Please Contact us First"
