Description: Pair of Antique 1890s Armand Marseille 6.5" Bisque Dolls, 390 13/0, Need TLC Strung dolls with 5 piece bisque bodies and sleep eyes, open mouths with four teeth. Marked Germany, A 390 13/0 M on the backs of their heads. Each doll has black painted shoes and facial features. Doll #1 is wearing a pair of brown felt pants tied at the waist with a blue ribbon string, with a red and blue striped shirt, and a plaid undershirt that is glued to the body at the back. There is a paint rub on the cheek, and paint rubbing on the painted shoes. Doll #2 is wearing a one piece pinafore with a black bodice and apron and stiped skirt. She has a white undershirt that is glued to the back of her body. Both of these dolls need to be restrung (beyond my skill level, the strings are attached to pins that go through the arms/legs and I don't know how to remove them without damaging the bisque.) Both dolls have paint rubbing, and have some discoloring of their bodies. Both dolls hair is in bad shape, it is dry and brittle.
