Description: Up for auction is a stunning pair of signed 1920's Paul Herzel Borzoi bronze clad bookends. I believe they were manufactured by Pompeian. Each measures approximately 6-3/4" tall. The bases are 6-1/4" x 2". Both are in beautiful condition, original green polychrome paint on the bases and wonderful gold/copper-tone color on the dogs. I see no damage to either dog. Good weight at 2 pounds 5 ounces each. You can feel the spot where the dipping wire would be under the felt. These will be well packed and fully insured for safe travel in a cruel world. Feel free to email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
