One of the most popular saxes today, P. Mauriat instruments provide consistency and excellent response with modern keywork and ergonomics. The PMXT-66R Series Tenor Saxophones incorporates P. Mauriat's unique rolling process which fully utilizes the saxophone's existing material. Unlike rolled tone holes of the past, there is no soldering here; the tone holes are drawn from the body and then rolled over (just like the original Conn saxophones) allowing superior resonance throughout the entire saxophone and increased response in all ranges. The PMXT-66RCL also has an enlarged bell that lets the warm, fat sound of this exceptional horn really cut through an ensemble. This professional class instrument also features a Super VI style neck and hand engraving on the bell and bow. This instrument is in excellent condition. We note that the lower clothes guard post has been resoldered, and there are some very minor scratches on the body tube. Otherwise this saxophone has very little playing time and looks terrific as shown. Includes original case with straps, but no other accessories with this one.
