This patch was created for the joint US forces that were preparing for, and execution of, the "SHOWDOWN IN THE GULF" (top). It shows an aircraft carrier, an A-6E Intruder, an F-14 Tomcat, and an M1A1 Abrams tank poised for battle.This is from a collection I just acquired, and hope to find it a good home. This patch has "a very tight cheesecloth" backing, a "merrowed red" border, a "khaki twill background", no velcro, and dimensions are in the photos (the ruler on the right is 6" tall).
