Description: Original WWII USMC Reversible Frogskin Camouflage Poncho- Rubberized, with Snaps and Grommets intact. There is some stamping on the snaps- very difficult to read. Looks like "United Darr"??? Maybe someone with excellent vision can make this out (see photo). No rips/tears. It is a bit stiff, but pliable. In very good condition for its age. Some surface discoloration from age/usage. No marker stamps or dates that I could see. The poncho measures approximately 60 inches wide X 45 inches in length. I just received some additional items from a friend's husband who is retired from the USMC. He has been a collector of U.S. military equipment and apparel for several years (which he obtained from military demonstration shows, flea markets, and personal friends who also served in the Military. I have provided information and descriptions from him, as best he recalls. He was in the USMC during the Vietnam War, and collected several items from this era, as well as WW1 and WW2.
