(Karlovy VARY" Designed by: anonymous artist - monogrammed in print, most likely around 1960s-1970s Total measurements: approx. 78,5x43cm Condition report: poster was stored folded, show fold lines, also shows some tears and creasing especially on the edges, in corners and in fold lines, repairs by tape from the backside, marked by unknown logo in the upper left corner Historical context: you can find the railway dating back to 1899 in the spa town in the local part of Dvory. The area is dominated by the original beautiful art nouveau grandstands, as if created for social gatherings. Such as the Racing Day of the European Nobility, which is always held at the racetrack at the end of April. Flat and steeplechase races can take place on the track, a golf course was built in the middle of the track a few years ago. The tradition is the racing days within the International Film Festival, in recent years there are usually 7 racing days a year in Dvory. In the summer of each year, the classic horse race for mares, known worldwide as the Oaks, takes place here (Dostihy Karlovy Vary).
