Description: Captain Beefheart; (Don Van Vliet) American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and artist. An original 1980's poster depicting Beefheart in the Mojave Desert, Captain Beefheart & the Magic Band were photographed in the Desert in the summer of 1982 while filming the video for Ice Cream For Crow and was used for the cover of the 7 in vinyl record; Captain Beefheart & Magic Band; Ice Cream For Crow. This poster was produced by the now defunct Steampower poster Co. Record, Disc & Vinyl Supplier in Primrose Hill, London. A print which is bright and unfaded in black ink, the image printed on a brown paper sheet measuring 45 cm x 64 cm (18 x 25 ins.) will be shipped in a tube. Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is good with handling marks condusive with age.
