Upper- and lower-most edges on front and back panels are chipped, fore-edge corners are rubbed through. Spine folds are scuffed. Edges at head and tail of board spine are rubbed through and split. Library stamp on upper external page edges and the title page. Board panels are slightly bowed. Front paste-down has sloppy repairs where likely the library card was attached. FFEP has a shallow vertical crease parallel to the fore-edge and is a bit soiled. Several faint (coffee?) stains on four pages beginning with the Contents page to page 10. External page edges are soiled and with small stains. Text block is sound. Dust jacket is soiled; front and back panels and spine are faded. The upper and lower corners of the back inside flap have damp stains, crinkling and closed tears. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine also have faint damp stains and are rubbed.
