Description: A trio of mulberry handless cups and saucer is presented for sale. Mulberry ironstone was made up until about 1865 and was very popular in the American market during the 19th century. The three patterns are: SHAPOO by T. R. Boote Company(1842-1864), HONG by Edward Walley Company (1845-1858), and SINGAN by Thomas Goodfellow Company (1828-1859). The SHAPOO cup is a pedestal style, the others are "cha" style. The only flaws on any of them is on the SINGAN cup, where there is an area that was not glazed during the manufacturing (shown in photo), a 1/8 inch chip on the bottom rim of the cup, (show in photo) and a rough area on the bottom rim of the cup during the manufacturing process. (shown in photo with mark.) The pattern SINGAN is the reverse of the pattern MANILLA make by Podmore Walker Company in flow blue. Email with questions. Domestic shipping will include insurance.
