Cute stories of woodland animals and their adventures. Both are hardcovers, blue cloth with dark blue, light blue and black drawings on front covers. Both are inscribed inside: To Elaine from Grammie (?)1947. They were probably the Grandmother's books originally. There are pencil marks and stamps inside back cover that suggest the child used these to play "library". See photos. There are no markings on the actual story pages. Both have glossy inset picture pages. 7" x 4.5" x .5" each Usual wear and yellowing of pages from age. Stain on first page of Neighbor's. From Smoke-free Pet-free home.
