This auction is for a nice copy of Monsters Unleashed number 2 from September 1973. Overall grade of Very Fine Minus. I urge you to examine the photo`s to form your own opinion. I hesitate to assign grades, but I know it is helpful to the buyer. My assignment of a grade to these comics might not agree with yours, but I have taken the time to detail what is wrong with them, so you will know what you are buying. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged and boarded, but you will most likely want to put a new bag and board on them, the one it is in now is for protection, not looks. GRADE/CONDITION: Front Cover: This book has about four tiny stress lines that exhibit little if any ink loss. There is minor overall wear including light bends and a couple inches of very minor edge ruffling at the bottom of the right edge. There is what I call a printer`s chip in the bottom edge below the monster`s right foot. Back Cover: There is minor overall wear including light bends and another tiny printer`s chip on the bottom edge. Interior Pages: Pages are cream to off-white. Pages are nice and pliable. There is no brittleness. Overstreet #54 sets a value for issue 2 in 7.5 VF- at about $24.00. Considering the free shipping, I`d say this one is... Priced to sell!
