Description: Thin clients such as this one DO NOT HAVE CD/DVD DRIVES! You can provide your own USB drive to connect via the USB 2.0 ports, but one is otherwise not included! I have, however, installed Daemon Tools which allows you to mount a disc image virtually. This listing is for an HP T510 thin client with Windows 2000 Pro SP4 plus Microsoft's final official w2k Update Rollup. Restore image is included on secondary drive (see pics). Specs are as follows:-1.00 GHZ VIA Eden X2 4200 Dual-core Processor-4 GB DDR3 RAM-16 GB SATA Solid State Hard drive + 64GB USB flash drive (installed as a fixed drive)-VIA Chrome9 HD Graphics-Dual DVI Ports (one supports VGA over included adapter)-VIA VX900 HD Audio-Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet Adapter-6 USB 2.0 ports (2 front, 2 rear, 2 internal)-Serial Port-Parallel Port (supports SPP (Standard), EPP, ECP, and ECP+EPP modes - BIOS configurable)-Dedicated PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports-12v Power Supply Installed software:-Windows 2000 Professional SP 4-Windows Installer 3.1-Update Rollup 1 (official)-High Definition Audio Driver Package-.NET framework 2.0-DirectX 9.0c-TomCom Unzip utility-K-Meleon v74 web browser-Daemon Tools v3.47 (for virtual CD support) About this PC:This re-purposed thin client is perfect for industrial applications that require a serial port and/or parallel port. While the SATA disk-on-module is only 16 GB in size, I have additionally installed an extra 60GB of storage via a mini USB flash drive installed to one of the two internal USB ports; using Hitachi microdrive drivers, this actually appears to and is treated by Windows as a fixed disk instead of a removable one, meaning you can install software to it and also that deleted files actually go to the recycle bin. Windows 2000 was a bit tricky to get up and running, but I eventually worked out all the quirks and got all the drivers installed and working properly. SP4 is installed as is the official final update rollup. Windows 2000 is arguably Microsoft's most stable operating system ever (I personally used it for 17 years on my main PC) and so I'm happy to finally have a machine configured specifically for Windows 2000. Performance is about double that of my Wyse Vx0 offering and the 3dMark scores are just high enough so as to make this machine suitable for some light retro gaming. 3dMark 20004134 Overall86 FPS - Helicopter (low detail)58 FPS - Helicopter (med detail)89 FPS - Adventure (low)53 FPS - Adventure (med) 3dMark014113 Overall67 FPS - Car Chase (low)68 FPS - Dragothic (low)70 FPS - Lobby (low)16 FPS - Nature
