They take many of the designs from the limb dampers on compound bows and provide nearly identical functionality. As the rifle fires, the Jellies disperse the recoil energy and harmonic vibrations transmitted from the barrel into the frame. This results in damped shots, reduced recoil, and a “dead feel gun”. The reduced vibration and recoil allows the shooter to detect impacts more easily and get back on target faster. An added benefit of the Jellies is reduced snag points and a new, unique look on the stock. Available for the MDT SRS line of stocks, the Rubber Dampers are installed by pressing them into the holes in the stock and are held securely in place through friction and dry lubrication – no special tools required.
