Description: In this listing we have a really nice Ken head. This doll head was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie Collector Barbie Looks like. This doll head is from number 18. This doll head uses the Tate head mold and is really handsome! This doll head has rooted brown hair on top with flocking on the sides, brown eyes, and neutral colored lips. I love the painted stubble! This doll head was made in Indonesia. This doll head uses the pivotal Ken neck and will need a body with a similar neck joint. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person. This doll head is in good shape. I am not the original owner, but I don’t think it was played with. If it was, it was very lightly. The doll’s hair is in good shape. The ends are a bit choppy, but that looks to be intentional. It is a little messy and will need some styling help. I think it still have the original hair gel in it, but will need some tidying up. This hair gel does tend to go sticky over time, so it might need to be washed out and redone (I would be very careful washing the flocking since it’s just glued on). The flocked hair looks good. It is a little sloppy around the edge of the flocked hair all along the hairline. It’s pretty minor, but it looks like they didn’t apply it as neatly as they could have and the edges aren’t as crisp as they could be. The sideburns are uneven when comparing the two of them. The doll’s face paint looks good. The doll’s eyes and eyebrows look good. The doll’s eyes are slightly uneven, one is a little bigger compared to the other. The doll’s lips look good. The doll’s painted stubble looks good. In some spots the paint looks to be applied a little heavier compared to others, but I think that’s intentional. There are some small shiny spots to the back of the doll’s head, I think this is glue from the flocking that dripped. The doll’s neck rim is in good shape. The external neck rim is in very good shape. On the internal neck rim there are two small nicks in the vinyl with some lifted plastic. Things look find, but I would be careful with the head because that could get worse with use. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll head and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
