Description: Offered for sale are a matching pair of butter paddles. They have ridges, making it easier to roll butter into balls. These were my mother's. I did not grow up with these, so these are not family pieces. My mother worked for a number of years in a shop specializing in imported English antiques. But, truth be told, I do not know where my mom acquired these. They are a matched pair, given their size, construction, and identical wood species. There are some minor chips in both paddles (the chips are shown in the photos). They would make great kitchen display items, and you could teach your grand children how to make butter balls! Thank you for looking.
