Harder To Find Matchbox Superfast #59 - Mercury Fire Chief car with rare greenish/yellow roof lights in original complete 'H' type box, I've checked the model over (but not with a magnifying glass) and it appears to be in superb mint condition but just in case I've missed something please view all the images using the zoom in option as this will give you a better idea of the actual condition of the model and box as these will be the exact items you will receive if you're the winning bidder, this is from my father's personal collection so I know the model has never been played with or hardly ever been removed from it's box so if there are any blemishes they will either be factory related or down to the model moving around in it's box for the past 40 + years, the model has lovely gloss red paintwork with clear windows and ivory interior, all the white "Fire Chief" tampo is mint and complete with no damaged letters, all superfast wheels and axles are nice and straight, Made In England "Matchbox" series unpainted metal base. The original 'H' type box is in excellent complete condition with minor age related/shelf wear on some edges and corners plus there's some very minor creasing on the top, there're no pen marks or repairs and it's still nice and rigid with crisp bright colours, produced for one year only between 1979/80 the model itself in my opinion is a superb example of late 1970's Matchbox Superfast new old stock with a shelf worn original box. I have taken as many pictures as possible to show every angle of the model and box so anyone bidding can see what you are bidding on as it will be exactly what you are getting.If buying from outside of the UK please do not click the Buy It Now and pay straight away as postage charges depend on your country of origin, just add the item(s) to your basket and then request a new total and wait for your updated invoice.
