Description: Martin D-28 Description This is a popular 1970's model with a clear and gorgeous grain, powerful and solid sound. It is a Grover peg model with a blue case, which was a coveted item in the 1970s, and is in excellent condition as it has been stored in very good condition. It also features a long-distance sound that sounds good not only to the person playing it, but also to the person playing it in front of you, and an overwhelmingly good sound heard from a distance.Production of the Martin Dreadnought began in 1916 for OEM company DITSON Guitar. It is said that the large design came to be called a dreadnought, after the giant battleship of the time.In 1931, it became part of the Martin lineup, and in 1934 it became a 14-fret dreadnought model, and to this day it has become a highly popular and long-selling standard model for acoustic guitars, and has been used by artists all over the world. This is the typical acoustic sound you hear on records and CDs.Each era has its own characteristics, but all D-28s of all eras have a beautiful grainy tone and a powerful, core sound in common.Currently, pre-war models made up to 1945 command a huge premium and are almost out of reach, and the prices of Jacaranda side and back instruments from the 1950s and 1960s are rising year by year. This instrument is a 1977 model, and the sound quality is the same as the models up to 1969, except that the side and back material was changed to Indian rosewood.Even so, prices below 13 seem like a great deal.Top is spruce, sides and back are rosewood, ebony fingerboard, and ebony bridge. The pegs are original Grover 102C and operate smoothly. The nut has been replaced, the new refret has been adjusted, the saddle has been replaced, and the string height has been adjusted. The pickguard has been replaced, and although it is not visible from the outside, there are signs of Martin cracking at the bottom of the first string, and measures have been taken to prevent it from cracking internally.Although it has been burnt to a candy color, it still has the same shiny new condition. There are almost no scratches, but there is a small dent the size of a grain of rice on the bottom right of the top. It's hard to notice unless you look carefully. It seems to have been stored with great care, and there are almost no signs of it being played.Of course, it's not new, so you can feel some age-related changes. It has a regular grip neck with a nut width of about 42.5 mm, and it feels thick even in the 70's.I think the neck is adjusted straight and is easy to play. The 6th string is set at 2.3mm and the 1st string is set at 1.7mm on the 12th fret. It's easy to play up to high positions, has a well-balanced pitch, and has a solid sense of tension. It has a beautiful grain and a gorgeous start, and the bass has a solid core and weight, and although it doesn't sound like it's being played, it has a good response that feels like it has dried up over time.It has a nice balance, and although it doesn't have a strong personality, it has a high texture and produces a wonderful tone that goes well with any playing style. It's the typical acoustic sound you hear on records. From the brilliance of a light, gentle touch to the power of a strong attack, this instrument is rich in expression and has a good sound.Comes with original tag and original blue case when sold at the time. This case is also very premium these days.Color natural wood grainManufacture year 1977Top plate material spruceSide plate material rosewoodBack plate material rosewoodBody size Dreadnought typeAccessories Hard case Shipping Shipping by EMS or FedEx,UPS (international express mail service, with Tracking and Insurance, handling cost).
