MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND S/T ORIGINAL LP 1972 LIVING WITHOUT YOU NICE

Description: This is Manfred Mann's Earth Band with their self-titled LP on Polydor Records PD 5015 from 1972. The record plays nice VG++ with occasional light noise in the background, and with excellent tone and sound. There is a pop at the very end of "Captain Bobby Stout" and a little noise during parts of the last song, "I'm Up and I'm Leaving." The cover is a solid VG with some wear at the top and bottom on the front, and at the top on the back cover. There is a sawmark in the upper left corner, and minor bends in the right corners. There is also a little bigger bend in the bottom left corner. See the last two photos. There is some minor rippling at the opening on the back cover near the center. It sounds worse than it is. It is an excellent album with a very decent cover. I've had it around thirty years and played it for the first time today. Wish I had played it long ago. "Living Without You" was released as a single and should have been a hit. It is a great version of the Randy Newman song. I liked it a lot better than Harry Nilsson's version also, and he is a favorite of mine. It's completely different from Randy and Harry's songs. Postage is $6.00 in the United States.
