Larry Ruth had this displayed in his Commercial/Reproduction section of his M1 Carbine Bayonet display Larry evidently was impressed with this one. Marked S.W.I. on the hilt and scabbard. The scabbard has the Victory Plastics symbol on the back of it just like those made during the war The box insert has some dust accumulation from display This item is from the collection/estate of the late Larry Ruth, who was the most in-depth researcher and prolific author of books on the production history of the U.S. .30 cal. carbines (War Baby!
